We've always had a soft spot for this pub, but its dining room had begun to show its age — it needed a proper refresh. So when The Bath Arms approached us, we jumped at the chance.

Being fairly local, we knew the place well. We walked the site, soaked up the atmosphere, and dug into its history. Early ideas came and went, but it quickly became clear that this room deserved something truly special. Sitting on the edge of the Longleat Estate, surrounded by ancient woodland, the setting was full of character and potential.

This pub is about everything that happens before you arrive at the table: the woodland walks, the muddy boots, the soggy dogs, the promise of a warm fire. We wanted guests to feel that story on the walls around them.

After presenting some initial painted sketches, the client was on board. We returned to the studio and created the full painting that now wraps the dining room walls.

The response has been wonderful, and we're genuinely proud to have played a part in the transformation.
